RESEARCH AND/OR CLINICAL INTERESTS
Dr. Lindsay Hannon's research interest is in thrombosis and pulmonary embolism outcomes, specifically after provider-initiated emergency activation of a pulmonary embolism response team (PERT) in a hospital setting. Her goal is to improve continuity and quality of care by following high-risk patients (those with cardiac devices, organ transplants, and high-risk obstetrics and gynecology patients) after hospitalization for comprehensive hematologic workups and management. As part of her fellowship, she also studied novel immunotherapeutics and bone marrow failure in blood cancers, primarily multiple myeloma.
